Girls Camp

Friday, May 23rd
It is finally here and we are ready to get on with it!!! It has been MONTHS in the planning, MANY sleepless nights, and to much stress on all of us. I have an amazing husband who is soooo supportive otherwise I don't think it would be possible to do what we do! I LOVE it though and in the end it is worth it. I can honestly say I have never had another calling that I have enjoyed so much, that has helped me to grow in more ways than I can count or that has blessed my life in so many ways. Our theme for this year is "We are all enlisted" kind of an Army theme, which has been so much fun. Today Our fourth year girls leave on the overnight pack in which Eric is going on as Priesthood! I am a little nervous for them because there is rain/snow in the weather forecast for the entire weekend. I will be going up a day early with our cooks, YCL leaders, nurse and a couple other leaders with our YCLs to set up and mentally prepare for when the rest of the girls get there on Saturday!

Schools out!!

This kids are done Thursday, May 22nd
I can't tell you how happy this makes me!! It starts a different kind of madness but its welcome. It's a nice change of pace without all the homework and extra activities and so on....
We are looking forward to swimming, sleeping in and all kinds of other adventures. We leave for camp tomorrow so our summer will really start next week but it's all good. Today Braydon will got to Joe's for the week, Kiley is going to Becki's, Keaton is going to Carli's, and Malerie is so excited to go stay at her friend Mckenna's!! Hopefully they will have an excellent time!

Happy Birthday Kiley!!!

May 6th was her big day and she is now 11 (going on 20)!! Where the heck has the time gone? I don't feel old enough to have these kids!!! We did low key birthdays this year. I took her out early from school we went and got lunch and a pedicure and went to Red Robin as a family for dinner. It won't be long and she will be stealing my clothes and shoes!!

A wicked good time!!

In April I got the opportunity to go to LA to see the Broadway play Wicked with a group of friends!

This trip ranked up there with my top 5 fav trips!! We laughed, shopped, laughed, ate, laughed, talked, laughed, played games, and shopped some more (oh and made a middle of the night trip to the beach in our pjs)!!

I am so lucky to have such a good group of friends that know how to have fun, and to have such an awesome husband that knows that I need these kind of trips and lets me go!

The play was absolutely amazing. I could watch it over and over again! We all got our picture with Elphaba and Glinda in their costumes and then we waited by the back door and got their
autographs on our shirts!

The rest is history because "what happens in LA stays in LA" right girls.
It was a little sad for it to all come to an end but we were tired and needed to catch up on sleep!
Eric picked us up and was a little annoyed by our code talk.
What a surprise I was in for when I got home! He had the house totally clean and he had laid sod in our side yard. I'm thinking I should leave more often!!!
Thanks for the memories girls this is a trip I will never forget and long live Nordstrom's Cafe!!!

DON"T THINK I"M STUPID!!

But I am doing 2 and a half months of posts in 1 day!! It has been so crazy I haven't had the time to sit and do this!
LIFE IS SHORT, BREAK THE RULES, FORGIVE QUICKLY,
KISS SLOWLY, LOVE TRULY, LAUGH UNCONTROLLABLY,

AND NEVER REGRET ANYTHING THAT MADE YOU SMILE!!
